‘Thick, juicy beef’: Japanese chain Gyukatsu Kyoto Katsugyu opening first S’pore outlet

According to a press release shared with 8days.sg, the restaurant serves “only carefully selected lean cuts of thick, juicy beef” deep-fried to medium rare doneness.To make ’em crispy, the beef cutlets are coated in a koromo batter with layers of egg wash, flour and bread crumbs.
The gyukatsu here comes with numerous condiments, including Kyoto-Style Curry, Fresh Wasabi and Onsen Egg, with a runny yolk that serves as a dip.
